Tessco is seeking an Order Management Specialist for our team. As an Order Management Specialist, you will be fulfilling customer post shipment requests. Your focus will be working within cross functional teams to ensure the customer is well supported after their order has shipped from Tessco.


  • Coordinate cross functionally to resolve short, wrong, and over shipments, warranty claims, invoicing issues, price corrections, material transfers, and return requests

  • Provide post shipment information and documentation to customers

  • Research and resolve kitted material issues

  • Review discontinued product and correct outstanding orders

  • Update bulk shipment delivery dates

  • Research and resolve inventory discrepancies

  • Update consolidated shipping costs

  • Source emergency alternate material

  • Report on and bill for material expediting efforts


  • Bachelor's degreein business or related field or equivalent documented experience and skills

  • Results-driven, self-starterwith excellent interpersonal skills

  • Demonstrated superior customer service abilities

  • Strong attention to detail, ability to multitask effective time management andorganization skills

  • Strong sense of urgency for customer needs balanced with an understanding & advocacy for fiduciary responsibilities to TESSCO

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and collaborate throughout cross functional teams within TESSCO organization

  • Clear understanding of operational policies and best practices

  • Ability to train and mentor team members

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Power Point and Excel)

  • Salesforce experience a plus

VIEW JOBS 10/20/2019 12:00:00 AM 2020-01-18T00:00 Position Purpose: Under the supervision of the Central Supply Supervisor, provide maintenance and replenishment of nursing chargeable carts, medical supplies, and clean patient rental equipment on a 24-hour basis. To assemble supplies and instrumentation of scheduled operating room cases. Nature and Scope: This position provides supply expertise to Materials Management, which has interaction with all in-house patient stations, outpatient services, several off-site services, and operating room. The incumbent is responsible for: * <li>Monitoring proper levels of supplies needed in nursing areas. * Providing special equipment on demand for patient comfort. * Reconciliation of all charges from Central Supply to all user stations. * Maintaining accurate quality assurance retrieval programs. * Determines adequate levels of reserve supplies for routine use and emergency situations. * Accurate picking, labeling, shelving and rotation of all patient supplies on nursing carts and in Central Supply. * Assembly of O.R. case carts. This position has the authority to: * <li>Relocate equipment to increase work efficiency. * Secure rental equipment from vendors. * Make recommendations for changes on O.R. pick lists. Decisions that must be referred to the supervisor are: * <li>Deviations from normal patient charging policy * Any deviations from established departmental policies. The major challenges to this position are maintaining control of patient equipment, ordering supplies, and proper patient charges for the department, assembly if case carts. Other related duties, flexible hours, and overtime may be required. This position does not provide patient care.
