If you are an Order Management Analyst professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting, hybrid opportunity for you! Based in our Stafford, TX location, you will have the overall responsibility of an order management analyst is to ensure that customer orders and production schedules are aligned to meet contractual delivery dates and optimize customer satisfaction.
As an Order Management Analyst, you will:
Handle backlog priorities and overall order execution.
Measure the overall site performance of initial order commit date through the site availability date and ensure discrepancies are identified and corrected.
Ensure backlog aging is regionally tracked and any critical issues are identified and reviewed with a focus on both the solution and customer communication.
Track order cancellations, changes, delays, and any associated cost recovery.
Establish an ongoing past due recovery plan with manufacturing sites.
Be the internal first point of contact for the customer after the sales order confirmation.
Be involved with proactive programs to advise customers in advance of any shipping/schedule changes including periodic meetings to review backlog of open orders.
Provide support to customers and sales team regarding expediting and shipping schedule commitments.
Respond to customer requests for information within 1 business day.
Liaise with customers, suppliers and Emerson sites regarding order related issues including order status, expediting requests, shipping requirements, and order prioritization.

Required education, experience & skills:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum one (1) year of relevant experience
Strong Analytical skills
Excellent digital literacy (Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.), ability to work with detail, proven math skills, excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
Ability to comprehend technical details/technical literacy
Legal authorization to work in the United States
Preferred education, experience & skills:
Associates or Bachelor's Degree highly preferred
Knowledge of valves
SAP experience
