Order Fulfillment Specialist

We are looking for an experienced Order Fulfillment Specialist to help accomplish customer service by the filling of orders. You will be responsible for preparing literature, packing, and shipping all materials for the Community Events, Marketing, and Sales function needs. Communication skills, organization, and attention to detail will set apart the best among the candidates. Add a shot of enthusiasm and passion for the job and youll be our ideal candidate. Job Responsibilities for Order Fulfillment Specialist

  • Order preparation, order pulling, collation, packing, and shipping for Community Events, Marketing and Sales.
  • Collaboratively work with customers to manage projects, resolve issues and make necessary decisions to meet project deadlines.
  • Ensure quality print production.
  • Maintain on-hand inventory of items both printed and manufactured to support project requests.
  • Assist with the set-up of workflows and processes that are efficient and effective to support business needs, i.e. collation of kits, mailing preps, manual and machine inserting, metering.
  • Involved with internal customers during project development providing input and expertise as to printed materials, collation and mailing requirements. Offer alternatives that either result in cost and/or time savings where appropriate.

Basic Requirements for Order Fulfillment Specialist

High School Diploma or GED

Preferred Requirements for Order Fulfillment Specialist

  • 2+ years of practical experience in printing, mailing, graphic arts, workflow/processes and project management experience preferred.
  • Previous experience with the shipping systems and Small Package Delivery carriers (UPS and FedEx) preferred.

The role reports to the Inventory Manager, and is located in New Berlin, Wisconsin. As an Inventory Management Specialist you will be responsible for the availability of raw materials and/or finished goods. Set inventory parameters and targets. Develop and implement state of the art methods and practices to reduce requirements for storage facilities and space and to reduce the associated costs of carrying inventory. Your responsibilities * Segmentation Segment: the portfolio of materials through an ABC/XYZ analysis, taking into consideration product and component life cycle management, commercial, and financial policies. Define inventory policies according to this segmentation. Collaborate with local product group managers to understand the demand and supply plans. * Inventory Parameters: Calculate and maintain the SAP inventory parameters, then collaborate with the SCM team to implement and maintain safety stock, lot size, lead time and replenishment strategies at regular intervals. Inventory Controls: Define, Execute, and report regular inventory analyses. Evaluate, define and lead the execution of daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports. Reports may include IDR(Integrated Data Repository) with warehouse, COGI(Controlling Goods Issued), and deficit clearing. Responsible to lead cycle counting and year end annual physical inventory programs. Recommend continuous improvements to controls. * Inventory Quality: When controls reveal variances, take swift and decisive action to contain the variance. Then utilize L6S to lead the RCA (Root Cause Analysis) and then assign corrective action to your peers in other functions. Influence and escalate if there is a lack of ownership or performance from others' corrective actions. * Inventory Performance Analyze excess and obsolete/aging inventory. Defines, leads, and implements appropriate actions for optimizing inventory performance in collaboration with local product management, material planners, planning and fulfillment manager and finance. * Material Master Data: Understand material master data integrity's effects on inventory controls, quality and performance. Lead the monitoring of component life cycle management. Include regular report outs and recommendations for corrective actions. * Operational Consultant: Serve as inventory management consultant, advisor, and spokesperson for the local operations organization; influence the focus and directions of operations. Proactively develop and implement measures to improve operations and customer satisfaction. Your background * Bachelor's Degree and 5 years' experience in production, continuous improvement, SCM, manufacturing, inventory/planning/ sourcing, operations management. * Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the USA. * Open to travel about 10%. * Master's Degree is highly preferred.
