The Order Fulfillment Manager is responsible for the daily oversight and management of the Order Fulfillment team to ensure all orders are entered correctly and efficiently in timely manner. Other responsibilities include upselling products and services to customers for Chain Hoist & Rigging when products are unavailable. Carries out management responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Understanding of, and ability to enforce compliance to, all US CMCO Hoist & Rigging policies and procedures pertaining to customer service and order fulfillment. This includes an understanding of the Hoist & Rigging Go-To-Market Sales Strategy, and the related requirements to both support it, and to assist in mirroring it within the Channel Services order fulfillment organization.

  • Creates and maintains Department metrics through extracting data from business systems, and creating reports and dashboards that reflect business activity and support management decision making.

  • Lead training support for Order Fulfillment Team.

  • Responsible for the overall daily department workload as required, including approval of special requests and policy exceptions, and being the point person for issues that require elevation to Management. Responsible for the order entry process for Chain Hoist & Rigging Productivity which includes meeting performance expectations related to workflow and accuracy.

  • Support Channel Services Management in driving Service Excellence throughout the organization. This includes identifying, recommending, implementing, driving/measuring process improvements, and representing C.S. in associated Lean initiatives.

  • Monitor staff productivity and accuracy through the development and implementation of performance metrics. Identify coaching needs, train and monitor staff in "consultative service", provide product training and servicing skills advocating for the customers.

  • Create and promote a supportive and productive team environment.

  • Internalize, understand and assist in the implementation of Channel Services policies and procedures, and apply them to daily decision making and modeling.

  • Coordinate with all other functional areas within CMCO as required to support daily business activity.

  • Coordinate and collaborate with internal departments for continuous improvements and recommendations for CMBIS.

  • Prepare staff progress and productivity reports using CMBIS and Excel tools.

  • Improve EDI process flow

  • Other projects as assigned

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree
4+ years of customer service experience and 2+ years in a supervisory role

Current working knowledge of Excel and Outlook, SAP preferred

Travel may be required within Columbus McKinnon Corp's domestic footprint

Join our winning team! We are currently seeking an Order Fulfillment Representative to join our Channel Services team at our Getzville, NY headquarters. The Order Fulfillment Representative will be responsible for processing customer orders accurately and in a timely manner. They will interact with Customers, Schedulers, Customer Service Representatives and Field Sales Managers. Providing assistance and information such as product specifications, pricing, scheduling, shipment and delivery data on orders. Key Accountabilities * Enters Customer Sales orders efficiently and accurately into ERP system. * Communicates with Customers via phone and email regarding order details and processing. * Interface with plant personnel, warehouses, and Credit on orders. * Functions as liaison between Customer Service Group, Warehouse and Field Sales Team to ensure needs are met. * Follows established procedures, examines and verifies documents for correctness, appropriateness and accuracy * Utilizes resources such as price books, catalogs, share drives to address customer requests * Learn the organization's products, services and policies through various training programs. * Works directly with key Channel Partners to coordinate large orders and specialty orders to ensure accurate transactions. * Monitors Outlook mailboxes and pulls orders from on line portals. * Other duties as assigned.
