COMPENSATION: $16.32

SUMMARY

The primary function of this position is to efficiently and accurately pick and prepare product for shipment to meet department standards while meeting customer needs.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Efficiently and accurately pick customer orders to department standards by doing the following functions. This position requires rotation through all functions listed below in the order-fulfillment process according to set rotation schedule determined by supervisory staff.

Order Picker

  • Accurately fill orders according to defined standards using the Pick to Light picking system and RF picking.

Check Point

  • Check accuracy of rejected product at reject points in designated areas using a computer terminal and Scanner.

Box Erector

  • Set up box erector accurately for order requirements.

  • Prepare boxes, invoices, and inserter for all order fulfillment lines.

Void Fill

  • Accurately void fill orders and seal cases using filling and taping equipment. Void fill orders to meet department set quantities standard.

Shipping

  • Organize boxes or bags and palletize orders based on identified carrier method.

  • Wrap and move pallets using pallet jack to designated carrier area.

Wrapping

  • Bubble wrap, bag, and tape items

  • Follow all GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices). Follow and complete all GMP related paperwork; attend yearly training put on by leads and supervisors.

  • Follow and adhere to all safety rules and procedures set forth by the company.

  • Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resources, with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service.

  • Conducts self in the presence of customers and community so as to present a professional image of SHP.

MARGINAL DUTIES

  • To assist in maintaining a clean and organized department. Keep work area clean and organized throughout and at the end of shift.

COMPETENCIES REQUIRED

  • Ability to provide prompt and reliable attendance

  • Ability to read, write and understand English with the ability to communicate in English effectively

  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Exceptional attention to detail

  • At times problem solve and prioritize when needed

  • Ability to work in a team environment

  • Basic computer knowledge

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High School Education or GED preferred.

VIEW JOBS 5/12/2021 12:00:00 AM 2021-08-10T00:00 Quality Assurance Packaging Associate Benefits • Onsite Fitness Center • Product Discounts Monday - Friday 3:30pm - 12:00am COMPENSATION: $19.65 SUMMARY The primary function of this position is to assist with ensuring that the daily accuracy and product quality of the packaging department meets Swanson Health Products and cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices) standards. The objective is to achieve a higher level of accuracy and product quality. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES * Ensure accuracy of bulk for every work order for item and manufacture date and best by date. * Conduct random checks of work order fulfillment process to ensure all quality aspects are being met. The following apply but are not limited to; bottles, caps, induction seals, pill counts, labels, lot numbers, manufacture dates, best buy date, etc. * Assure quality assurance (QA) and cGMP procedures are followed when product is bottled. Follow all current QA policies and help implement policy changes and new polices. * Verify cleaning process through swabbing of equipment contact parts, and record and verify results on appropriate log. * Responsible for the accuracy and completeness of packaging department QA and cGMP paperwork. Verify completion and accuracy of work order, daily logs, and cleaning logs. * Approve all completed work orders prior to product leaving the packaging area by conducting the final inspection of completed work orders to verify accuracy and quality of finished products. * When quality issues arise within packaging area, you own responsibility to halt production line while investigating and discussing quality issues/deficiencies with packaging lead/supervisor/manager and QC Manager. Participate in quality problem investigations, corrective action discussions, and non-complaint product disposition decisions. * Follow all cGMP's. Follow and complete all cGMP related paperwork; attend yearly training put on by leads and supervisors. * Participate as an active member of the Sanitation Team. * Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resources, with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service. * Conducts self in the presence of customers and community so as to present a professional image of SHP. COMPETENCIES REQUIRED * The ability to provide prompt and reliable attendance * Good communication skills * Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks * Previous manufacturing and/or quality control experience preferred EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE High school diploma or GED equivalent.
