Responsible for the timely and accurate data entry of patient, prescriber, prescription, and insurance information into the company's Rx processing and eNav software. Also responsible for obtaining, processing and adjudicating patient prescription claims to insurance from various disease states.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Associates degree preferred. Three plus years of Pharmacy Technician/Order Entry Technician experience required.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Acts as liaison between company, patients, Insurances, Pharma and Provider's office via phone, fax and e-mail communications. Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written communications.
Accepts prescriptions and makes sure all necessary information including insurance verification is available to process orders.
Processes prescriptions through pharmacy dispensing software following all laws for each state for which the medication is being dispensed from.
Maintains documentation of calls to and from patients, caregivers, insurances, providers, and Pharma.
Keeps current with new treatment trends.
Communicates patient status to physician's offices/clinics.
Maintains patient confidentiality.
Dedicated Single Point of Contact for Offices and/or Pharma.
Ability to manage patients across multiple disease states or multiple workflow processes within a COE.
Audit/Checking new employee's work.
Develop Training/Job Aides; Training Assistant.
Meet higher production standards/quality expectations.
Interim Lead; Mentoring of staff
Helps in the development of department SOPs.
Manages implementation of new medications and manages and trains staff thru the Implementation process.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
