Order Assembler - 2Nd Shift Postion

Job Description Job Description Order Selector Job Description- Second Shift Position Summary: An Order Selector is responsible for selection product in a safe and efficient manner, including placing product on a pallet in an orderly fashion to ensure product will be sturdy for travel.

This is accomplished by using electric pallet jacks and electric walkie/rider pallet jacks. This is a physically demanding position operating in a Controlled Environment Warehouse. Position Responsibilities: • Operate electric pallet jack and/or electric walkie/rider pallet jack • Operate Voice Pick Headset and Receiver • Operate EasyPick handheld device • Read alpha and numeric codes on floor and shelf tags • Pay close attention to detail when doing the following: o Reading labels o Selecting product o Transferring product to pallets • Build sturdy pallets on a consistent basis Required Skills: • Must be able to lift 25 – 50 pounds repetitively • Must be able to stand/walk for extended periods of time • Must have basic math skills • Must have basic reading skills • Must be able to work a full-time schedule including overtime when necessary • Must be able to work on Saturdays prior to the following holidays: o Memorial Day o July 4th o Labor Day o Thanksgiving o Christmas o New Years • Must be at lest 18 years of age • Must pass drug test and background check Preferred Skills and Experience: • Warehouse distribution or Order picking experience • Experience with electric pallet jack and/or electric walkie/rider pallet jack
