Job Summary

The Order Admin Business Support team provides sales support to our Retail For Business sales team and Apple's business customers. Our focus is on delighting customers through daily management of post-sales activities with an emphasis on consistency, quality, and speed.

This position interacts directly with customers and works cross-functionally with the sales team, Accounts Receivables, Logistics, Finance, Contracts, and other internal departments to ensure customer satisfaction throughout the order fulfillment and sales support cycle. This role also entails a high volume of problem resolution and teamwork.This role is located on our campus in Austin, Texas.

Description

Order Adminl for Business Support Specialists are responsible for: Supporting Retail Business Sales teams in AMR to consistently deliver great customer experiences Providing post-sales support for Apple's business channel, including everything from orders to shipping, billing, account maintenance, and returns Delivering excellent customer experiences through email support on post-sales related topics Analyzing business trends to partner and collaborate on continuous process improvement Complex problem solving for customer satisfaction issues, process, and internal partnerships Being an active member of the team to shape business decisions and positively impact the business Holding yourself to key performance metrics and raising the bar Analyzing business trends to partner and collaborate on key business decisions Supporting new product launches to deliver Apple's latest to our business customers

Education

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience2-3 years in a contact center or similar work environment

The Highlights The Senior Order Management Specialist is responsible for timely and accurate order processing for complex accounts. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering accurate data and administration concerning order to cash processes. In addition, you will work with vendors and internal teams to ensure orders are processed and/or issues are resolved within agreed timeframes. You will serve as a senior member of the team that mentors, trains and serves as a backup to team lead(s). What you will do * Specialize in performing pre-sales and order entry activities for complex service orders for a specific line of business * Work directly with partners and/or client to ensure the efficient execution of service implementation within expected timeframes * Manage efforts with other internal departments (i.e., Sales, Engineering) to ensure service level objectives are completed by predetermined timeframes * Investigate and resolve complex issues or problems related to complex orders and other assigned initiatives or projects * Provide clear and concise communication to other levels of the organization * Resolve issues or escalate them in a timely manner * Develop and maintain order monitoring based on tasks, goals and time frame requirements * Serve as the contact to the sales organization and partners to answer questions and resolve issues * Reconcile work in progress and complete against estimated timeframes to develop necessary action plans for instances outside of service level objectives * Prepare performance metrics (weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly) to allow for comparison to predetermined goals and objectives * Prepare status reports and analyze data to make recommendations to a supervisor, senior management and end users * Consistently perform all duties and responsibilities according to production and quality standards and provide high-quality customer service Required keys for success * Five or more years of experience in customer service, order entry or order management * Two or more years of data entry experience * Two or more years of experience with Salesforce or a similar customer relationship management (CRM) tool * Two or more years of telecommunications or cable industry work experience * Advanced-level proficiency in appropriate software applications or technology * Proficiency in all order fulfillment processes and business rules * Knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint with the technical aptitude to learn databases * General understanding of our fiber-based product and service offerings * Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, high-demand and fast-paced environment * Ability to maintain the confidentiality of client and business data at all times * Ability to solve practical problems and deal with different concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists * Ability to deal with problems involving few concrete variables and standardized situations * Organization, prioritization and decision-making skills * Ability to build working relationships to effectively work with teams throughout the organization * Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients or members of the business community * Ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and/or technical journals, financial reports and legal documents * Ability to effectively present information to leadership in a logical and professional manner * Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form * Ability to work independently * Ability to train others * Ability to make decisions and work collaboratively with others to solve problems * Ability to show judgment and initiative to accomplish job duties * Ability to handle projects and tasks while meeting deadlines * Skills to communicate effectively with all members of the department in a proactive and professional manner How you will stand out from the crowd * Experience with advanced telephony or the data industry * Experience in project management or project coordination Your education * Associate's Degree or equivalent or three or more months of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience What you can expect * Office environment * Flexibility to work extended hours The Spectrum brands (including Spectrum Networks, Spectrum Enterprise and Spectrum Reach) are powered and innovated by Charter Communications.
