As a recognized authority and leading contributor within their practice, this senior-level consulting position provides consistent high quality and innovative solution leadership to a project team. Leads the solution design and implementation aspects of engagement(s) ensuring high quality, integrated software solutions within constraints of time and budget.

Analyzes business needs to help ensure Oracle solution meets the customer s objectives by combining industry best practices, product knowledge, and business acumen. Exercises judgment and business acumen in selecting methods and techniques to deliver functional and technical solutions on non-routine and very complex aspects of applications and technology installations.

Provides direction and mentoring to project teams, and effectively influences customer leadership on key decisions. Supports the business development efforts by pursuing new opportunities and extensions. Collaborates with the consulting sales team by providing domain expertise.

Resolves complex customer issues by recommending and implementing solutions. Demonstrates expertise in multiple business processes across two or more product families or ability to architect and design technology solutions encompassing multiple products and make decisions based on impact across the stack.

8-10 years of experience relevant to this position including 4 years of consulting experience. Prior team leadership or management experience preferred.

Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience preferred. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability to communicate effectively.

Ability to build rapport with team members and clients. Strong influencing and negotiation skills. Ability to travel as needed.

Senior Functional Architect role within Americas Services organization, focusedon providing functional Customer Care & Billing (CC&B) leadership onOracle Utilities customer self-service cloud product engagements Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) experience preferred.Will work directly with client business sponsor and leads to ensure focus onSaaS adoption, business case objectives, leveraging best practice processesacross the solution set, and scope management. Oracle s True Cloud Method delivery best practice adoption across pre-sales,delivery and product stakeholders to scale Oracle Utilities SaaS deliverycapabilities to consistently and cost-effectively deliver best-in-classcloud-based customer self-service solutions.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

_Internal Oracle:

_

o Mentor/develop otherconsultants into lead roles

o Contribute to reusablecollateral/accelerators

o Participate in businessdevelopment, including customer presentations and RFP responses related toCC&B Self-Service Functional Architect role/function

o Knowledge sharing across peergroup

_Project engagements:

_

o Single point of contact toboth Project Manager and client for the CC&B self-service solution andscope management

o Provide leadership to theimplementation team by promoting consistency across the team, includingmethodology, deliverable templates, terminology, etc

o Provide leadership and guidancein defining the CC&B self-service solution landscape and strategy

o Partner with client businessleadership on change management to drive SaaS adoption to the larger clientorganization and educate this community on key changes to current processes

o Provide utilities industry andCC&B best practice, through engagements in Oracle Utilities implementationswithin North America

Clear & timelycommunication internally, as well as externally with customers and partners

Preferred Qualifications

CC&B solution architectexperience on at least two implementations

o Facilitating workshops

o Driving the client to arecommended solution and owning the delivery of it

o Providing leadership to bothclient and project team

Designer or architectexperience with the Oracle Utilities Application Framework(OUAF)

Utility industry experience(working directly for a utility) a plus

CC&B Implementation Specialistcertification

10 years overall relevantexperience, including 5 years in consulting or services

Successful full lifecycleimplementation experience

This position typically requires 25-50% travel. Travel to client site will be limited to specific project tasksrequiring client engagement (e.g. facilitating workshops). When not travelingto a client site work will be done remotely.
