Nucor Steelmaking Group (SMG) Services, which provides technical support for the steelmaking divisions of Nucor Corporation, is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Oracle Support Analyst EAM (enterprise asset management).

BASIC FUNCTIONS: This Analyst will be responsible for support of Oracle and Oracle related products. The successful candidate will drive Commercial Excellence by supporting Oracle users responsible for the requisition, maintenance and management of division equipment assets. Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to, day to day resolution of user problems; serving as liaison between users and NextGen Build team; evaluating request for change and facilitating solutions that will maintain the integrity of the global design; providing support to divisions on nights and weekends as needed.

This is a fulltime, permanent position with the SMG Services Team based in Irving, TX. Relocation to the Dallas area is required. Travel to Nucor steelmaking division locations through the remainder of the project implementation period will be required, approximately 30%. Post go-live travel is estimated at 30%.

Job Requirements


  • Authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship both now and in the future

  • Oracle EBS or similar ERP experience

  • Experience with the requisition, maintenance and management of equipment assets


  • Experience with equipment asset management processes in a manufacturing environment

This role is a critically important and will work within the context of business technology solution delivery in support of HR and Payroll departments to ensure overall stability and performance of Oracle HCM cloud environment. This position negotiates deliverables and adheres to overall service levels and schedules on high priority projects with peers in the client groups. This position implements the policies, process management concepts and structures, methodologies and the review and quality standards required to ensure that developed applications meet or exceed the client groups' expectations. Leveraging strong technical expertise and analytical skills, the Sr. ERP Analyst works closely with application IT stakeholders, Build Managers and other functional experts, to deliver project and operational changes within Oracle HCM Cloud application environment. This role is in the Back-Office Management Build organization and an integral part of the delivery team for HR/HCM and payroll application functionality for operational/steady state as well as multiple projects within a portfolio of projects to meet the application development needs of the HR and Payroll business domains. The role will be 70% technical and 30% functional. o This position is directly involved in meeting with digital HR leadership, Payroll Leadership, and various IT stakeholders and vendors in the delivery of key projects and steady state activities. o This position is also involved, at an operational level, with providing technical direction, determining standards, and with defining operational schedules for the specific array of, often, interlinked projects.
