Job Description:

Position: Oracle Retail Analyst.

Job Duties: The Oracle Retail Analyst provides support and analysis for Oracle Retail Software Applications for corporate and restaurant locations.

Duties include:

  • Analyze business requirements utilizing functional and technical knowledge on Oracle Retail to implement and improve computer system capabilities.

  • Conduct enhancements within the Oracle Retail Applications ORMS (Oracle Retail Merchandising System), ORPM (Oracle Retail Pricing Management), OREIM (Oracle Retail Invoice Matching), ORSIM (Oracle Retail Store Inventory Management), ORESA (Oracle Retail Sales Audit), ORAlloc (Oracle Retail Allocation) and ORIB (Oracle Retail Integration Bus).

  • Work on the development and architectural design of new systems in Oracle Retail. Work on the configuration of new systems to customize them in accordance to business requirements as well as analyze any legacy system(s) and propose recommended solutions on the Oracle Retail Applications.

  • Provide technical and functional support on various phases of the software development life cycle (SDLC). Conduct various critical integrations to connect Oracle Retail Applications with various downstream systems.

  • Identify malfunctions and architecture-related issues and other synchronization issues between the clients' various existing systems and the Oracle Retail Applications.

  • Provide in-depth technical consultation to Business Units and IT management to ensure development of efficient systems utilizing established standards, procedures, and methodologies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or closely related field plus seven (7) years of progressive post-Bachelor's experience in an Oracle Retail Consultant role working with Oracle Retail Applications required.

  • Must have experience with: Consulting in retail environment; Consulting in a Retail/Agile environment, addressing software issues with QA and business unit(s)

  • Experience in business and systems analysis, design, and implementation

  • Experience in standard development processes, operating systems, database languages, and programming languages and tools, including:

  • SQL, PL/SQL,

  • Pro*C,

  • Unix Shell Scripting,

  • UC4,

  • BIP,

  • Oracle Forms/Reports.

The Business Intelligence Analyst II is responsible for developing solutions to the business needs of an organization by exploiting data generated by various operational systems. The Business Intelligence Analyst II has skills in eliciting, analyzing, validating and documenting business needs provided by the BRM team and the ability to leverage the appropriate database and reporting technologies to present business data in an easily accessed and understood manner. The Business Intelligence Analyst II has an excellent understanding of business processes and the ability to create reports, dashboards, and scorecards by analyzing data across multiple and diverse business applications and databases. The role will internally consult with the BRM, EA and business clients to coordinate with other team members to design, build and manage product enhancements and requests, where applicable based on business need. The Business Intelligence Analyst II is passionate about timely and trustworthy information and the technologies used to deliver value to Wellbore Technologies strategic vision. The role is an integral part of an enterprise-wide Business Intelligence program, with opportunities to grow into a bigger role. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES § General Requirements Analysis § Research, identify and document the organization's reporting and information handling requirements § Develop and document the design of business rules, mappings, and test scenarios § Develop and document code in keeping with established processes and standards § Debug and unit test modules before deployment to QA environment § Create and maintain project documentation in accordance with established standards § Solution Development and Delivery § Develop business models, data relationships and presentation models § Create data visualization products, including reports, charts, dashboards, and scorecards § Leverage the functionality of the supported reporting tools to enhance user experience § Coordinate with sponsors, technical staff, and developers to resolve issues § Understand standard systems development lifecycle processes and apply the methodology effectively § Application Support § Provide support to the user base and provide solutions to problems encountered in processing information.
