Oracle Project Manager-Implementation/Support

Job description

Infosys is seeking a Project Manager with Experience in implementing the Oracle EBS/Cloud ERP applications. The position will primarily be responsible to manage, organize and coordinate across multiple projects, provide strategic guidance to teams and client in ways that promote the company's culture, oversee the progress of projects. Experience in managing staff of different disciplines to produce results in a timely manner. They will also be able to develop efficient strategies and tactics. Candidate should have expertise with Oracle EBS implementation or support projects. The goal is to ensure that all projects deliver the desirable outcome to our organization.

Required Qualifications:

• Candidate must be located or willing to relocate to Indianapolis, IN or Columbus, IN.

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.

• 7 years of Information Technology experience.

• Candidate should have strong credentials in Oracle implementation/upgrade/support programs.

• Candidate should have strong credentials in managing the Support / implementation project with respect to planning, schedule, budgets and SLAs

• Must exhibit project management and client relationship building traits.

• U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency required; we are not able to sponsor at this time.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Project Manager on large enterprise application programs.

• Must demonstrate understanding of implementation and support projects on Oracle EBS or Cloud.

• Thorough understanding of project management techniques and methods.

• Liaison with client for project delivery, future work, recommendation, footprint expansion, resource planning and identification.

• Formulate, organize, and monitor inter-connected projects.

• Coordinate cross-project activities.

• Excellent problem-solving ability.

• Drafting contractual documents.

• Develop and control deadlines, budgets and activities.

• Apply change, risk and resource management.

• Assume responsibility for the project's people and vendors.

• Assess project performance and aim to maximize ROI.

• Resolve projects' higher scope issues.

• Prepare reports for program directors.

The job also entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.
