The desired candidate will work as a test engineer lead part of an Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R12 Integrated Project Team supporting testing and validation efforts for major software releases/upgrades, monthly maintenance software releases, and emergency software releases.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a test SME supporting System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) cycles with a primary focus on Order to Cash (O2C) and Procure to Pay (P2P). (and nice to have Budget to Report (B2R) and Acquire to Retire (A2R)).

  • Support Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC) testing for monthly production and emergency releases.

  • Perform mapping of system requirements to test scripts using HP Application Life Cycle Management (ALM) / Quality Center (QC).

  • Track the execution of test cases/scripts in HP ALM.

  • Create positive and negative test scripts for all applicable scenarios.

  • Perform validation for data fixes.

  • Provide guidance to agency users and test team resources with how-to scenarios during test cycles.

  • Lead workshops to prepare end users for testing of new functionality ahead of UAT cycles

  • Track and report defects for resolution on timely manner during SIT and UAT cycles.

  • Participate on status meeting and provide updates as applicable.

  • Support programs efforts to transition to Oracle Application Testing Suite (OATS) for conducting automated testing of design fixes, modifications, and enhancements of the Oracle EBS R12 application.

Required skills:

  • Testing experience with Oracle Federal Financials EBS R12.2.6 or above

  • Demonstrated functional knowledge of:

  • Order to Cash (O2C): Projects, Accounts Receivable

  • Procure to Pay (P2P): Purchasing, Accounts Payable

  • Experience supporting System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) testing cycles

  • Experience in the creation, modification, and execution of test plans/scripts

  • Experience creating regression testing scripts and execution

  • Experience with HP Application Life Cycle Management (ALM) / Quality Center (QC)

  • Experience with dynamically staged testing data

  • Prior experience in the DOD/Federal Government environment

  • Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously among changing priorities

  • Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, and analytical skills

  • Ability to adapt and work with end users with various levels of expertise

  • Five Years of IT experience, with at least 5 years' global large-scale Oracle ERP implementation experience

  • Bachelor's degree plus five years relevant experience.

Desired skills:

  • Prior Oracle Federal Financials EBS R12 experience supporting DoD customers

  • Experience with Oracle Application Testing Suite (OATS)

  • Experience writing test scripts in OATS compatible format

  • Prior experience with OBIEE testing

  • Experience in software testing using agile methodologies

  • Proficient in authoring, editing and presenting technical documents

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments.

Develop best practices and standards for the project team to follow to keep data consistent. * Support data model changes and data conversions during releases. Write scripts to convert data as necessary, and test and validate them before providing them to the DBA to execute during releases You Will Bring These Qualifications: * Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to pass CBP background investigation, criteria includes, but is not limited to: * 3-year check for felony convictions * 1-year check for illegal drug use * 1-year check for misconduct such as theft or fraud * College degree (B.S.) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Management Systems or a related discipline.
