Oracle EBS Apps DBA (Offshore)

Astute Business Solutions is an Oracle Cloud , EBS and PeopleSoft consulting firm based in Dublin, CA. Astute is currently looking for an Offshore based consultant for the following role.

Job Title: Oracle EBS Apps DBALocation: Offshore (India), working hours 8:30pm-12:30am ISTDuration: 3-4 Months (Part-Time 20 hrs per week)

Responsibilities

• Individual with good experience in Oracle Applications R12.2.X in 24/7 Production environment & Database maintenance support.
• Good Experience in Installing, Cloning & Administering Oracle E-Business R12.2.X & R12.1.X and Oracle Database 12c & 11g Environments.
• Expertise in Oracle Apps 12.2 Patching using ADOP
• Good experience in PCP, Concurrent Manager & Workflow Administration.
• Should have hands-on experience in Security Patching for EBS, WebLogic, Database & Grid
• Extensive experience in Upgrading & Migrating EBS Environments to OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure) or AWS.
• Cross platform migrations esp Solaris to Linux.
• Oracle DB Upgrades, Migration & Refresh Tasks
• Effective troubleshooting skills in Oracle EBS & Database Performance issues.
• Expertise in analyzing AWR, ADDM, ASH & TKPROF.
• Good Hands-on Experience in Installation, Configuration & Administration of WebLogic & SOA
• Expertise in performing Backup & Recovery through RMAN/Data Pump utilities.
• Experienced in Oracle RAC Administration, ASM, Disaster Recovery & OEM Implementation
• Preferred to have good knowledge of Oracle Database 19c & Shell Scripting
• Good Communication skills

• MySQL: 4 years (Preferred)
• Database administration: 5 years (Preferred)
• Oracle EBS: 5 years (Preferred)
