Primary Purpose: Summary of major reason this job exists.

Oracle E-Business Suite (a/k/a Oracle Applications) Developers provide technical application support

to Brunswick's Oracle E-Business Suite and supporting Oracle-based systems. This includes designing

and programming of interfaces to external systems, extensions, customizations, and reports.

In support of development work, developers are expected to test applications they write, create and

maintain documentation, and work closely with Business Relationship Managers (BRM), analysts and

end users to deploy and support applications.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Majority of duties performed, but not meant to be all-inclusive or to prevent other duties from being assigned.

• Present conceptual technical solutions that satisfy functional requirements

• Create technical specifications for proposed solutions

• Build inbound and outbound integration solutions between external systems and Oracle HR and

Oracle Finance modules

• Build supportable extensions and customizations to Oracle EBS, including i-Expense

• Build Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) reports for Oracle EBS

• Build and support Oracle Workflow

• Design and build custom applications using Oracle APEX

• Create and execute written test plans for technical solutions

• Assist in providing support to the Oracle system users and interact with Oracle support team in

resolving software errors

• Experience with Oracle Fusion Financials, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, etc. modules

(preferred but not required)

Job Specifications: Knowledge, skills, and abilities normally required for competent performance in the job. · B.S. degree and 3 to 6 years of experience as a hands-on Oracle developer · Must be proficient programming with PL/SQL · Experience and firm understanding of the Oracle Finance data model is desirable · OA Framework competency would be beneficial · Experience with Oracle APEX would be beneficial · Use of code management and change control systems would be useful · Willingness to learn new technologies and take responsibility for personal development · Ability to sustain progress with limited supervision · Strong analytical and problem solving skills · A proactive nature and effective verbal and written communication skills are very important · Experience with Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) would be useful
