Assignment Details:


The successful candidate will be part of a team that will implement Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) throughout the company.
The candidate will install Oracle software, maintain databases across multiple platforms, perform modifications to databases, enforce database security, maintain database backup/recovery procedures, migrate database changes, engage in capacity planning, performance monitoring and tuning, and manage highly-available production database instances for corporate systems.
Off-hour support is required for production problem resolution, scheduled production database migrations, upgrades and patching.

Requirements:

The candidate must have a strong customer focus and possess excellent technical, listening, documentation and communication skills.
Candidate must possess the skills and ability to learn quickly, see the bigger picture from detailed facts, assimilate new concepts and think analytically.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and will be required to interface with application developers, managers, directors, technology and planning personnel, and business users throughout the company.
A Bachelors degree, preferably in Computer Science or related discipline is required, or equivalent experience.
A minimum of 5 years of Oracle database administration experience is required.
The candidate must be able to handle multiple assignments with changing priorities while still meeting deadlines.
The candidate must have experience administrating Oracle databases on Linux platforms.
Candidate must have in-depth knowledge of backup and recovery techniques, experience writing SQL code, performance tuning, database security, patching and planning for Disaster Recovery.
Candidate must be proficient in the use of Enterprise Manager Grid Control and have the experience writing scripts using Perl, Korn Shell and PL/SQL
Required knowledge:
Oracle DB and RAC
Storage technology and capacity planning
Experience with Data Guard standby databases
Experience managing physical and logical standby database
Experience with GoldenGate
Familiarity with Microsoft Office
The following are not required for this position but would be considered as a valuable asset in a potential candidate:
Exadata
Knowledge of Advanced Metering Infrastructure applications

Baker Tilly Annual Report 2017 Responsibilities * Provide Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll and benefit functional/technical consulting services by acting as subject matter expert and leading clients through the entire cloud application services implementation lifecycle for Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll engagements * Hands-on formulation of business and functional requirements to set the direction for corresponding and complimentary solution delivery aligned to business goals * Apply business and functional knowledge and expertise, working in collaboration with the engagement teams, in the implementation of business-aligned/driven Oracle Cloud solutions * Lead testing and training programs during HCM Cloud Payroll and Benefit transformations and lead change management programs to increase adoption for our clients with the HCM solution * Create design documents reflecting requirements, create test scripts and guide end users for testing and develop mapping for data conversions and validation based on requirements * Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance counseling to consultants, clients and team members * Contribute ideals and developments to improving our dynamic internal market offerings Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, human resources or related field * Minimum of 5 years Cloud implementation experience with at least 2 years of hands on experience with HCM Payroll and Benefits to include Oracle Payroll and Oracle Advanced and Standard Benefits. * Experience with successful delivery of full lifecycle HCM Payroll and Benefit implementations, upgrades, end user trainings, technical conversions and go-lives * Business process expertise around human resources * Excellent analysis skills and the ability to develop processes and methodologies * Demonstrated management, analytical, organization, interpersonal, project management, communication skills, and highly developed Microsoft Suite skills (Word, Excel) required * Ability to engage effectively at the business and technical level, provide exceptional client service, demonstrate commitment to continuous learning in order to stay current regarding applicable strategies, see the "big picture" as well as the details, display appropriate ethical knowledge and commitment, and exhibit a sense of urgency and commitment to quality and the timely completion of projects * Must be willing to work nontraditional business hours for client demands * Ability to travel; potentially up to 80% Baker Tilly Virchow Krause, LLP New York City NY
