ORACLE DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR GIS (GISLC-19-0558-W):

Bowhead seeks an Oracle Database Administrator to join our team for a GIS contract effort. The Oracle DBA will be responsible for supporting the Oracle databases and ensuring their performance, availability and security.

Requirements A BA/S is required at a minimum in addition to at least two to five (2-5) years' of Oracle database experience.

  • Any experience with Army GIS and Installation GIS (e.g., USACE or Army Geospatial Center) is highly preferred.

  • Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint

  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts. To receive and respond to instructions/assignments, must be able to read, write and speak English.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED: Must currently hold and be able to maintain a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
