Due to the continued growth of our Strategic Cloud Services practice we are seeking an Oracle Cloud Technical Senior Consultant.. This position will be focused upon the delivery of SaaS solutions leveraging the Oracle Cloud suite. The technical Senior Consultant works as a member of the Baker Tilly engagement team to provide business and technical expertise in the areas of Cloud HCM applications. Baker Tilly professionals on our Strategic Cloud Services team provide technical consulting services for back office operations for all industries and size companies up to global fortune 50 companies. We focus specifically on cloud strategy, process design, program management, and system implementations wrapped around Oracle cloud technologies.

Responsibilities

As we continue to navigate the impact of COVID-19, you may encounter a longer job application, interview experience and/or a deferred offer of employment for this position.

  • Apply technical knowledge and expertise of Software Development Life Cycle, working in collaboration with functional consulting staff on Baker Tilly engagement teams, in the implementation of business-aligned/driven Oracle Cloud solutions
  • Interact with clients to understand technical requirements to develop conversion and integration specifications- A focus on business solution alignment, from gathering requirements, overseeing development, testing and system deployments typically around integration, data conversion, reporting and fast formulas

  • Work closely with global technical delivery teams to ensure program cohesion across cloud applications

Qualifications

  • Minimum of two (2) years of Oracle cloud implementation experience, with a strong preference of hands-on experience with one or more of the Oracle cloud applications.
  • Previous related industry and consulting experience in competing product sets will be entertained (Oracle EBS, PeopleSoft, Workday, etc.)

  • Ability to engage effectively at the business and technical level, provide exceptional client service, demonstrate commitment to continuous learning in order to stay current regarding applicable strategies, see the "big picture" as well as the details, display appropriate ethical knowledge and commitment, and exhibit a sense of urgency and commitment to quality and the timely completion of projects

  • Hands-on experience with HCM Data Loader (HDL), Spreadsheet Loaders, Fast Formulas, HCM Extracts, BI Publisher

  • Experience with Java, XML, Service Oriented Architecture (Oracle SOA Suite), Business Intelligence (OBIEE) is preferable

  • Excellent analysis skills and the ability to develop processes and methodologies

  • Demonstrated analytical, organization, interpersonal, project management, communication skills, and highly developed Microsoft Suite skills (Word, Excel) required

  • Previous team management experience a plus

  • Must be willing to work nontraditional business hours for client demands

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, computer engineering or related field

  • Ability to travel; potentially up to 50%

Qualifications Required a minimum of 4 years of experience with the following areas: * Hands on experience in at least two to three Full Life Cycle implementations of the Oracle HCM Cloud product, from planning to configuration through go-live * Strong functional knowledge of the system * Experience leading teams and driving their work to ensure project timelines are met * Experience managing workstreams, including monitoring for project issues and sound judgement for escalation * Superior communications skills, both verbal and written * Experience with Microsoft Office Products such as PowerPoint, Visio, and Excel * Ability to travel up to 50% (Monday through Thursday, weekly).
