The Sr Analyst Consultant will work directly with customers and members of our consulting team to implement solutions which support our clients' business and technology needs. You will also participate in all lifecycle stages of the project, from requirements gathering through delivery, yielding a wide range of experience, exposure and responsibilities.
As a member of a project team, you will follow standard practices and procedures to analyze situations/data and provide quality work products to deliver functional solutions on applications and technology installations. Work involves problem solving and understanding and applying relevant Oracle methodologies and practices. You will implement Oracle products and technology in various industries to meet customer specifications.
Meet with clients to determine requirements and the scope of the project
Clarify clients' system specifications and understand their business needs
Design and develop solutions to meet clients' requirements
Implement and test aforementioned solutions
Create documentation, including, but not limited to:
Project plans and status updates
Successful Consultants will have the following background:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or Accounting. MBA Finance or CPA preferred
Minimum 2 years of business Accounting experience, GL/AP/AR
Working experience on Oracle EBS or Cloud
Experience as a business analyst on projects
Proven analytical and quantitative skills
A passion to design and develop custom solutions for challenging business problems
A successful history of working in a collaborative team environment
Ability to absorb new concepts quickly, think independently, and demonstrate keen problem-solving ability
Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with team members and clients
Knowledge in multiple business processes:
General Ledger (GL)
Accounts Receivable (AR)
Accounts Payable (AP)
Fixed Asset Management (FA)
Business Skills required
Consulting skills: self-motivated, team oriented, positive attitude, with a can-do, jump-right-in attitude
Excellent written and verbal communication including presentation skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments
Tool knowledge: MS Project, MS Visio, MS PowerPoint, Excel, Word
Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
Strong business background, working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles
Effectively produces deliverables
Ability to identify, assess and mitigate relevant risks during project execution
Organized and detailed oriented
