NOW HIRING A OR SUPPLY TECH I
Responsible for performing inventory management functions for the Operating Room (OR) Supply areas to include order placement, receiving and put away, stock rotations, inventory replenishment to satellite locations, case cart preparation, and other critical OR supply functions in order to provide the highest-valued, customer-focused logistical services to the OR, clinical staffs, and physicians.

Qualifications
High school diploma/GED required
6 mos in supply chain operations, with focus on OR supply management preferred
Education:
Essential: High School Diploma or GED
Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
Assist in activities for case picking, case cart preparation and quality checks, and processing returned supplies; including add-on cases support
Assist in activities for OR inventory replenishment; supply , shelving, and unit organization; bin labels; back order and substitute notification and shelving labels; and product returns
Perform activities for monitoring and reporting KPIs
Conduct cycle counts and physical inventories as required
Support optimization of Lawson and available technologies to better perform tasks, and to improve services and outcomes
Support organization of OR Supply staff and resources to execute initiatives and tactics effectively and efficiently, and report issues and concerns timely
Review and acknowledge OR Supply staff scheduling and assignments to ensure all work functions and requirements are completed effectively and at the highest standards
Ensure 100% compliance with all Federal and State healthcare regulations, TJC standards, and PHS Policies and Procedures
Participate in and support Supply Chains and ORs emergency/disaster preparedness and response, and support PHS Hospital Incident Command System (HICS) efforts
Perform activities for addressing back-orders, stock-outs, substitutes, trials, conversions, and recalls
Assist in evaluation of OR supplies, services, and equipment usage trends and recommend operational process improvements
Support education and communications plans for OR staff, physicians, and key stakeholders to ensure compliance with Supply Chain Policies and Procedures and to improve customer satisfaction
Other tasks as assigned
