RN Circulator wanted for busy multi-specialty ambulatory surgery center in Valencia. Minimum 1 year multispecialty experience required, ortho experience a plus. Energetic, team players are a must! BLS, ACLS and PALS certification required. Must have current CA nursing license.

Mon-Friday, no weekends, holidays or call. Per diem, part-time or full time available for the right candidate. Benefit package available.

The ideal candidate would demonstrate initiative, insight, and judgment in a single operating room by assessing, planning, evaluating, ensuring and implementing appropriate standards of care to achieve identified outcomes. The candidate would follow approved operating room procedures to meet the requirements of scheduled procedures.

  • Knowledge of professional nursing theory and practice to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in a surgical setting.

  • Knowledge of the actions, potency, side effects, dosages, and contraindications of drugs used for IV conscious sedation.

  • Ability provide patient care in surgical setting and emergency situations.

  • Ability to work in a creative, organized, self-directed and goal setting manner.

  • Ability to correlate clinical data with patient's medical condition.

  • Ability to set priorities.

  • Ability to provide direction to others that is clear, concise and promotes efficiency.

  • Ability to work as part of a team.

  • Ability to accurately comprehend and interpret verbal orders/directions.

  • Skill in interacting with others in a positive, respectful, and considerate manner.

  • Skill in the safe operation of equipment and machinery.

  • Proficient in the use of technology including computer and standard office equipment.
