OR Anesthesia Tech/Room Tech Team Lead

Job Description

Assists the anesthesia team by setting up equipment and preparing IV fluids and setting up art lines. Orders, stocks, tests, and maintains anesthesia supplies and equipment.

Washes and packages re-usable items for sterilization. Washes and processes items for high-level disinfection processing. Reports malfunctioning equipment to appropriate personnel.

Assists surgical team during operative procedures by trouble shooting problems with endoscopy equipment and instrumentation. Sterilizes, cleans, wraps, stores and distributes supplies, instruments, and equipment used for patient care. Performs a variety of tasks.

A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Typically reports to manager or director.

High school education or equivalent is required with at least 2 years OR experience. Schedule: Full time days, 5x8s, 6:30a - 3p.
