This Local Marketing Leader will develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to increase utilization of key Optum technology products within targeted healthcare systems in South Carolina and the Southeast. The Senior Manager will determine the unmet needs and barriers to adoption for these key technologies. They will lead education strategies such as webinars, in-person training sessions, and roundtables. The Senior Manager will be responsible for building relationships with key stakeholders throughout the health system. Finally, the Senior Manager will partner with UHG sales teams including Optum and UHC to integrate into a holistic strategy and deliver value to the health care system as a unified team.

Provide support for prioritized prescribers and health system leaders in South Carolina to increase utilization of OptumRx technologies within EMRs
Communicate the benefits of the OptumRx technologies, such as Prescriber time savings and patient cost savings
Develop a meeting cadence for in-person meetings with health system leaders and prescribers to review reports that show the benefits of OptumRx technologies and highlight additional opportunities
Develop an on-going cadence to address the administrative needs our prescriber partners
Develop a cohort of Optum teams who are responsible for prescriber and health system outreach to share best practices and operate as a team-of-teams
Perform educational outreach for top prescribers and health care systems including in-person trainings, webinars and providing educational materials
5 years of experience in marketing, client services or sales
5 years of cross-functional experience working in a matrixed organization
Experience calling on prescribers and health care systems
Partnering with internal sales teams to provide coordinated and mutually supportive outreach to prescribers and health care systems
Preforming data analysis and presenting findings to persuade stakeholders
Hosting educational meetings, training sessions, and webinars to a variety of stakeholders
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
