This Local Marketing Leader will develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to increase utilization of key Optum technology products within targeted healthcare systems in South Carolina and the Southeast. The Senior Manager will determine the unmet needs and barriers to adoption for these key technologies. They will lead education strategies such as webinars, in-person training sessions, and roundtables. The Senior Manager will be responsible for building relationships with key stakeholders throughout the health system. Finally, the Senior Manager will partner with UHG sales teams including Optum and UHC to integrate into a holistic strategy and deliver value to the health care system as a unified team.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide support for prioritized prescribers and health system leaders in South Carolina to increase utilization of OptumRx technologies within EMRs

  • Communicate the benefits of the OptumRx technologies, such as Prescriber time savings and patient cost savings

  • Develop a meeting cadence for in-person meetings with health system leaders and prescribers to review reports that show the benefits of OptumRx technologies and highlight additional opportunities

  • Develop an on-going cadence to address the administrative needs our prescriber partners

  • Develop a cohort of Optum teams who are responsible for prescriber and health system outreach to share best practices and operate as a team-of-teams

  • Perform educational outreach for top prescribers and health care systems including in-person trainings, webinars and providing educational materials

Required Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree

  • 5 years of experience in marketing, client services or sales

  • 5 years of cross-functional experience working in a matrixed organization

  • Experience calling on prescribers and health care systems

  • Partnering with internal sales teams to provide coordinated and mutually supportive outreach to prescribers and health care systems

  • Preforming data analysis and presenting findings to persuade stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Hosting educational meetings, training sessions, and webinars to a variety of stakeholders

  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint

The Opportunity: Dova is currently recruiting a Sr. Territory Business Manager for our South Carolina territory to join our team, reporting to the Regional Sales Director. In this role, you will develop and execute a territory strategy that works collaboratively across a matrix organization to appropriately address customer needs and ensure that we deliver on our sales targets. As a Sr. Territory Business Manager, you will develop deep customer insights, build and maintain strong professional relationships with physicians (Hepatologists, Gastroenterologists, Hematologists), pharmacists, nurses, office staff and other health care providers in the patient care continuum. To be successful in this role, you will possess an entrepreneurial and innovative spirit while working strategically and operationally in equal measure. Responsibilities: * Responsible for representing Dova's products and services to a customer base, generating and growing sales and consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets within a specific geographic area in a professional, compliant, ethical and effective manner. * Application of effective selling techniques to create and expand product understanding and appropriate patient identification. * Strong knowledge of disease states and therapeutic products. * Demonstrate high degree of business acumen * Develop an understanding of the issues and opportunities unique to each geography. * Support KOL advocacy and execute company-sponsored speaker program plan. * Ability to develop and foster strong relationships Requirements: * Bachelor's Degree or equivalent, with a minimum of 5-7 years of pharmaceutical industry experience. * Proven success in a specialty product sales role and rare/orphan disease and/or specialty experience for minimum of 3 years preferred. * Hematology/Hepatology experience strongly preferred. * Proven track record of success in all respects of selling, i.e. technical knowledge, selling techniques, interpreting/analyzing data, and an in-depth understanding of medical field and pharmaceutical industry. * Previous product launch experience in a highly competitive environment. * Outstanding interpersonal and relationship building skills, and influencing and negotiating skills. * Strict compliance, both in own behavior and behavior of sales team, with Dova's commercial compliance policy, and all applicable federal and state laws and guidance relating to product promotion and information dissemination.
