Responsibilities

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Optometry degree from a college or university recognized by the Accreditation Council on Optometric Education or the American Optometric Association Eligibility to be licensed in the United States by having passed Parts I, II and III of the National Board Exam

The Electronic Systems Segment (ESS) provides a broad range of aerospace systems, security and detection systems, and pilot training. You will help propel L3 Electronic Systems to the next level of internal branding, communication, and employee awareness. In this role, you are at the hub of an L3 Technologies' business segment responsible for all employee communication across the segment in partnership with Human Resources. Your primary job is to support the internal communication requirements of the segment's sector and divisions working for the Director of Communication and supporting the Directors of Defense and Commercial Marketing. You are able to understand the business strategy and develop and align internal communication requirements with a sense of strategy and forethought. You must be able to quickly comprehend and prioritize the need to communicate often times with little assistance and direction. Deliverables will include partnering with the creative team to develop digital signs, creating and managing a segment-level internal communication website, pulse point surveys, All Hands presentations and potential event Q&A. You will work closely with Communication and internal stakeholders to develop the voice of our segment, sector and division leaders and share news that is easily understandable in a complex environment. Mastery of internal website development is essential and is just the beginning of your talent as you grow quickly with the changing environment being up to date on the newest trends in internal communication. Your understanding of the business is imperative as you communicate business priorities and milestones regularly with direct alignment to corporate priorities. Delivering Results and Demonstrating Success: * Establish, promote and protect a healthy company culture * Responsible for creating and measuring results of an annual internal communication strategy in conjunction with MarComm leadership * Ensure organizational initiatives and projects are successfully communicated to employees and stakeholders * Work cross functionally with sector and divisions to understand and proactively identify program, communication, marketing and business development needs for internal customers * Plan, edit and write content aligned to the annual strategy for a variety of internal communication mediums, such as a segment intranet, digital signs, pulse point surveys, or regular email bulletins.
