Optimization Improvement Specialist

Overview

Novant Health is seeking a Optimization Improvement Specialist. The Optimization Improvement Specialist manages processes to support improvement of referral and scheduling optimization operations across Novant Health Medical Group; serves as internal consultant for newly affiliated and existing clinics; and fosters relationships between all regions of Novant Health, corporate departments and respective clinics to ensure integration of resources and best practices and continuity of operational procedures. Works with regional managers and clinic administrators to identify opportunities for improvement in operational efficiency as it relates to referrals and scheduling. Facilitates the development of plans and timelines to aid the clinic in achieving stated performance goals and collaborates with the clinic administrator to evaluate clinic performance.

Candidate must have a knowledge of the referral workflow process.

Qualifications

• Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, required.

• Experience: Three years of experience in medical group clinic leadership, preferred. Three years of experience with referral and/or scheduling workflows, required.

• Additional skills required: Educational planning, performance consulting, outstanding interpersonal and communication skills. Skill in exercising initiative, judgment, problem-solving and decision making, giving and receiving feedback, team building.
