The Optimization & Experimentation Manager will oversee all aspects of our digital marketing optimization and testing program, from concept to execution, and reporting to implementation. As you work closely with channel managers and business stakeholders to gather hypotheses and maintain a global testing roadmap, you'll convert strategy into tactics, engaging in all aspects of test conception, execution, reportingand implementing the wins thereof.

As part of the web operations team, you'll take a leading role in working closely with design, development, analysts, and other support team members to test into learnings and insights that produce on-page response rate and conversion rates lifts across Vivint's digital marketing portfolio.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Deliver tactically excellent optimization services to the department: plan, execute, and manage high quality landing page optimization projects and similar user research activities in a timely manner.

  • Proactively consult with and provide testing ideas to channel managers for increasing website/business performance metrics (i.e. leads, sales, and installs). Identify additional success metrics and work with operational teams to report on them as needed.

  • Maintain a healthy testing platform and global testing roadmapincluding a hypothesis library and testing documentation repository.

  • Help the department fully utilize the abilities of the testing platform: be prepared to think creatively and act on out-of-the-box approaches that leverages the flexibility and capacity of the testing platform to be a catalyst for the business.

  • Conduct testing post-mortems with members of the extended testing team to develop an action plan for documenting and implementing learnings.

  • Be accountable for effective QA of optimization and experimentation efforts.

  • Create wireframes, craft copy, and/or develop test concepts as needed.

  • Prepare and present recommendations, findings, and insights to senior leadership and other stakeholders, as needed.

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Advanced knowledge and experience with testing platforms (Adobe Target, Optimizely) and fundamental principles of A/B and multivariate testing.

  • Good understanding of the optimization industry; aware of the latest tools, techniques and methodologies like ML, AI and how they're being applied in our or similar verticals.

  • Proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/jQuery.

  • Confident in guiding other individuals and working in teams.

  • Past experience and/or knowledge of Salesforce or campaign/marketing automation tools is helpful.

  • Past experience optimizing for calls or sales-driven lead flows is an advantage.

  • Strong grasp of responsive/mobile web design principles desired.

  • Functional knowledge of online user research tools desired (Hotjar, Usability Hub, or similar).

  • Familiarity with project management tools (i.e. Asana, JIRA, Trello).

  • Experience working with a variety of stakeholders/clients with competing priorities.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • Understanding of how to use prototyping & wire-framing tools to communicate recommendations to the creative team.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's in Marketing, Analytics, Computer Science or equivalent experience in related field.

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in conversion rate optimization

  • Minimum 1-year experience in at least one of the following areas: web design, front-end development, web analytics, project management, channel management (SEO, PPC, etc.)

  • This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

VIEW JOBS 3/26/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-06-24T00:00 Job Summary: The Central Heating Plant Manager oversees the operation of BYU's large natural gas fired Turbine, which not only provides upwards of 15 megawatts of electrical power to the local electrical grid, but also generates the high temperature hot water that enables the continuous supply of heat, steam, and hot water to campus. This critical operation is essential to keep the entire campus comfortable and allow a large number of other services, which rely upon hot water, to function. Because the Heating Plant is one of the largest utility expenses on campus, it requires constant oversight to ensure it operates in the most cost effective manner. Maintenance and upkeep of the plant, as well as the prevention of corrosion or scaling in the heating and cooling distribution systems on campus, are also an important part of this position.
