About the team

You will be joining a team of payment specialists and business analysts that provides in-depth consultancy to Worldpay's diverse portfolio of Enterprise clients. The Optimisation Team forms part of Global Enterprise Operations and works closely with Commercial, Implementation and Client Success teams, advising merchants on how to improve authorisation rates across different geographies and sales channels.

What you will be doing

You will use raw data, supported by a deep understanding of card acquiring, to provide targeted and actionable insights across a broad range of business types to improve authorisation rates for a wide variety of Enterprise customers.

• In-depth assessment of existing Tier 1 client configurations drawing on comparable merchant benchmarks and internal best practice knowledge

• Identification of opportunities to improve transaction acceptance rates and/or identify other opportunities to cross-sell Worldpay products.

• Creation of value-balanced optimisation review packs and build bespoke dashboards and insight packs.

• Present optimisation findings to the Tier 1 clients

What you bring:

• Strong data manipulation & summarisation using Excel / Power BI

• Proven track record of applying analytical skills to a variety of business problems.

• Excellent data interpretation and presentation skills

• Excellent presentation and communication skills, able to look beyond numbers to identify trends and drivers, articulating them clearly and concisely.

• High attention to detail and good quality control

• Self-starter, able to thrive in a fast paced, results-oriented international work environment.

• Must be able to develop good working relationships, especially within the Sales teams where it is expected they will become a trusted advisor.

Added bonus if you have:

• Data extraction skills using SQL.

• Card and payment industry knowledge.

• Knowledge of one or more Worldpay systems would be preferable.
