With its DSP, broadband amplifiers, photonic ICs and optical transceivers products Marvell technology is enabling this exponential growth of data movement through optical interconnects.

What You Can Expect

Become a member of a world-class optical transceivers design and validation team in providing high performance calibrations, test methods and infrastructure for state-of-the-art optical communications transceiver modules.

The job responsibilities include the development of calibrations routines for optical devices, the development of optical transceiver performance validation tests, building and maintaining the appropriate testbeds with the associated software infrastructure. These tasks support products from the R&D phase all the way to high volume production.

What We're Looking For

Experience

  • PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields with 0-2 years of experience in optical transceivers testing, photonic IC controls and calibrations.

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields with 4-6 years of experience.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields and 8+ years of related professional experience.

Skills

  • Knowledge of optical communications from system to component level

  • Capable programmer with experience in Python. Experience with automating instrument control

  • Ability to validate hardware and debug electronic hardware

  • (Preferred) Background in digital signal processing

Expected Base Pay Range (USD)

102,800 - 154,000, $ per annum

The successful candidate's starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
