JOB DESCRIPTION:

Summary of Job Scope and Expectations:

The Operations Project Business Lead position is responsible for serving as a consultant to Operations projects, working with Operations to conduct and execute projects. This position works collaboratively with Operations leaders (VPs, RDOs) to provide needed project support, including research, analysis, and input into the decision-making process. The Operations Project Business Lead also participates in pilot projects focused on a small number of stores to create prototypes for wider implementation (e.g., reducing food waste, ensuring food quality at store opening/closing). Based on the results of pilot projects, this position establishes standard operating procedures and protocols for broad implementation. In addition, the Operations Project Business Lead may present project results and make recommendations to the Leadership Team.

Descriptions

  • Serves as a consultant to Operations projects, working with Operations to conduct and execute projects.

  • Works collaboratively with Operations leaders (VPs, RDOs) to provide needed project support, including research, analysis, and input into the decision-making process.

  • Participates in pilot projects (e.g., reducing food waste, ensuring food quality at opening/closing) to create prototypes for wider implementation.

  • Establishes and implements program instruction guides and standard operating procedures and protocols associated with Operations initiatives as basis for broad implementation.

  • Conducts financial and statistical analyses to make business recommendations,

  • Reviews, enhances, and produces processes and policies that are consistent with Operations practices for a variety of business initiatives.

  • Develops cross-functional relationships to support new and productive internal and external alliances.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or equivalent experience required

  • Minimum five years of Operations-related experience, preferably including experience in Operations as a General Manager or above

  • Completion of GO100 courses

  • Successful completion of annual store training

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
