Job Description:

The University of Florida Center for European Studies (CES) is seeking a full-time (40 hours per week) program assistant to perform basic office functions such as photocopying, scanning, filing, and data entry and to provide general assistance with outreach events, accounts payable, account reconciliation, limited human resource functions, purchasing, and expense and travel reports when necessary. This position will also be responsible for serving as the general receptionist as well during working hours. The successful candidate must be proficient in Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.

Expected Salary:

$14.00 - $15.00 per hour, commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree

Preferred Qualifications:

Strong interpersonal skills, good communication skills, attention to detail, prior experience in an office setting, familiarity with an academic environment, prior experience in accounts payable, prior experience or interest in European Studies.

The position requires working 40 hours per week, which may include weekends. We are looking for individuals with exceptional performance skills, such as: self-motivation, meticulous attention to detail, honesty, dependability, adaptability, must be able to lift 50lbs.
