Swing Shift Supervisor

WITHIN YOUR TEAM

In this role, you will act as production leadership support as a group leader/supervisor.

This position will be on-site at our Elk Grove, IL location.

THIS JOB IS A UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY TO:

The swing shift supervisor role will require you to supervise, train/develop, and coordinate activities of associates engaged in mixing, filling, and packaging water or solvent based products.

In addition, this role requires analytical ability to maintain high-performance operations and ability to implement countermeasures when the analytics identify gaps.

In this role, you will:

• Perform laboratory testing of finished product per work instructions.

• Supervise and coach production associates on an as needed basis

• Maintain adherence to production procedures and monitor via hourly and daily management

• Review and resolve equipment issues and report them via escalation process when necessary

• Responsible for following and enforcing plant safety and adhere to ISO standards

• Track team's performance using data collection that could also require data entry

• Perform other duties as assigned.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR A PROFESSIONAL WHO IS:

• Able to work independently

• A strong multi-tasker and has strong attention to detail.

• Able to lift 50lbs and stand for several hours.

• Knowledgeable of Microsoft Access, Excel, and Word. Has Knowledge of OBIE, Oracle, ADP, and navigation of other IT systems.

• Able to work in fast paced environment.

• Able to balance work and other duties required.

• Able to work a flexible schedule to meet the demands of 24 hour a day operations including nights, weekends and holidays

• Sound judgement, decision making, and problem-solving skills

YOUR EDUCATION AND BACKGROUND EXPERIENCE WILL INCLUDE:

• College diploma (associate or higher) or equivalent experience with 5+ years of related supervisory work experience in Chemical Manufacturing.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate's position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.

The compensation range for this role is $28.50 - $32.50 USD per hour.
