We are searching for an organized and experienced individual to fill a position in a busy, multi-doctor practice clinic located in Little Rock, AR. This position will be full-time, Monday Friday. Position Overview: The Ophthalmic Retinal Photographer will be responsible for the photographic imaging of the patients eyes as required by healthcare professionals. They will be required to use highly specialized equipment to document parts of the eye such as the cornea, iris, and retina to identify ocular disorders/pathology. Duties and Responsibilities:
Providing photographic documentation of ocular disorders/pathology as requested by providers.
Performing a wide variety of highly technical and diagnostic testing procedures at the direction of the physician independent of direct supervision. This will require technical judgment and knowledge of ophthalmic pathophysiology to obtain optimal results.
High school diploma or equivalent.
2+ years clinical experience in ophthalmology, preferably as an ophthalmic technician.
Knowledge of retinal fundus photography, both digital and film systems.
Experience in fluorescein angiography and ICG.
Experience with silt lamp photography and OCT systems.
Certification by Ophthalmic Photographers Society (OPS) certified phlebotomist is preferred.
Excellent interpersonal, organization, verbal, and written communication skills.
Self-motivated and ability to work independently with a wide variety of healthcare professionals.
