Provides care that meets the physical and general aspects of care; meets the communication needs of patient and family; provides care that reflects initiative and responsibility indicative of professional expectations, under the supervision of physician.

Maintains regulatory requirements, office/clinic policies, procedures, and standards. Communications with physicians and team members about patient#s clinical condition, including results of diagnostic and treatment-oriented procedures and administrative tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma or GED. Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with staff, physicians, and public.

Understand the ethics of confidentiality. Previously demonstrated performance in a medical environment. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Able to speak clearly and distinctly with staff, physicians, patients, and families. Must have adequate perception of sounds or adequate hearing with corrections. Able to hear to converse with others on the phone.

Demonstrates adequate stamina to deal with stressful situations and to complete the necessary work schedule. Demonstrates adequate vision, or correctable with glasses/contacts, to prepare and read documents accurately. Possess fine motor skills and hand/eye coordination to operate equipment.
