Operator, Water

Position Summary:

The primary responsibility of the Operator I, Water is to operate and maintain assigned facilities and to actively support the Operations Lead Operator & Supervisor. The Operator will be part of an on-call rotation requiring night and weekend coverage as needed.

Hiring Requirements/Preferences:

• High School diploma or general education degree (GED).

• Three months experience in water field or related industry.

• Must possess a valid and active VSS Water Operator License or ability to obtain within 6 months.

• Strong communication skills.

• Must be computer literate in Windows and MS Office.

• Must be available for after hours and on call work as required.

• Must possess knowledge of regulatory requirements.

• Must possess a valid unrestricted driver's license.
