The Operator Transfer Press is responsible for operation and setup of automatic presses in Business Unit Transmission Technologies in Schaeffler Group North America at the Wooster, Ohio facility.

The Operator Transfer Press is responsible for operation and setup of automatic presses. The Operator Transfer Press will layout parts using the required measuring instruments to print specifications, setup and tryout new tooling, and assists in maintaining press & equipment. The Operator Transfer Press will operate the press with proper speed and assure that the press is properly maintained. The Operator Transfer Press adheres to company policies, safety standards and good housekeeping practices.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand in stationary position The employee is frequently required to use hands to maneuver objects, tools, or controls and to climb or balance. The employee is occasionally required to sit; walk; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; and talk and hear. The employee must regularly lift and move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and move up to 40 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to 75 pounds based on component specifications. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

This position is required to know and understand the current specifications of the Quality Policy and procedures, as well as the Safety and Environment Policy and procedures and contribute to the achievement of the company objectives. In addition to the duties listed above, the position holder must carry out tasks assigned by his supervisor that are essentially related to his duties.

Upon successful completion of the training program, Shift Supervisor Trainees are eligible to be considered for promotion to open Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor positions. These key leadership roles support the CVS Store Management team in driving store execution and performance while building consumer loyalty to CVS/pharmacy through a focus on excellent customer service. When there is no manager onsite, the Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor leads the store staff, ensures that store operations run smoothly, and is responsible for ensuring the completion of all opening and closing procedures.
