Ability to perform routine manual and semi-skilled work in the underground construction industry. Responsible for the equipment used in their day to day operations. This position may operate a variety of hand and power tools. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (Based upon the level of position, not all functions may apply)

  • Preparation of construction site, digging trenches and setting of support braces in trenches

  • Perform job tasks in a safe manner in accordance with company policy

  • Ability to use shovels, picks, axes, portable grinders and buffers, hand wire brushes, jackhammers, tampers, paving breakers and weed eaters

  • Provide labor support as needed for specialty crew

  • Perform general maintenance of construction equipment and vehicles

  • Must ensure the proper use of personal safety equipment

  • Follow all health and safety regulations when operating equipment

  • The flexibility of working long hours and the ability to work in all types of weather conditions

  • Maintain a clean job site and to pick up all tools and equipment and secure the job site each day

  • Other duties as required

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: (Based upon the level of position, not all may apply)

  • Must be reliable and able to work in a team environment

  • Excellent reading skills to understand and comprehend all construction warning signs

  • Require passing a pre-employment drug test and subsequent random drug tests

  • Be able to work out of state for extended periods of time

  • Great attention to safety

  • Willing to travel

  • Able to work in a high-stress environment with extreme weather fluctuations

  • Basic understanding of construction principles and procedures

  • Ability to operate a manual transmission vehicle

  • Experience operating heavy equipment

  • Preferred experience within the Construction, Pipeline or Gas Distribution industry

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

The position lifts heavy objects, walks and stands for long periods of time and perform strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. The employee is subject to outside environmental conditions, no effective protection from the weather. The employee is subject to extreme cold and warm temperatures.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Will lifting, pushing, pulling or carries heavy objects; using abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support. Must have good manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and balance. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; stoop; reach; climb; bend; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds. The employee is required to have visual acuity to operate motor vehicles and/or heavy equipment.

The Senior Specialist, Universal Banking Operations performs the operations and service functions of the branch, including adherence to all security, reconciliation, monitoring and balancing policies and procedures. In addition, s/he identifies customer needs and refers financial products and services. The incumbent plays a vital role in delivering a quality customer experience, by working directly with the branch sales team to create an environment that demonstrates core behaviors that enhance and grow the branch. S/he specializes in our branch customer experience through lobby management, transactions, and servicing for retail and business customers. Responsibilities * Adheres to applicable compliance/operational risk controls in accordance with Company or regulatory standards and policies * Completes branch currency ordering, and maintain negotiable inventory * Effectively uses available resources for problem resolution, which may involve analysis of information received from Loan Processing, Deposit Operations, ATM, Reconcilement, Loss Management or Financial Intelligence Unit or other internal Santander departments * Functions as the ATM Custodian, to include balancing * Functions as the Vault Custodian * Markets a full range of consumer and small business banking services to existing and potential customers through proactive techniques such as lobby leadership, outbound telemarketing calls, marketing campaigns, or in banking center events * Participates in telemarketing and other banking center calling and marketing initiatives * Performs sporadic cash counts for ATM and Service Associates * Provides a variety of transactions for customers, including typical consumer transactions i.e., cashes checks and processes checking and savings account withdrawals and balancing duties, etc. while seeking opportunities * to develop customer relationships and identify sales opportunities; utilizes basic sales techniques to deepen existing customer/prospect relationships * Researches and resolves account problems in conjunction with branch management * Utilizes sales techniques to uncover customer needs and match to the organization's products and services; sells a full range of consumer and business products/services such as deposit accounts, loans, credit cards, and safe deposit boxes to meet or exceed established sales goals to support overall sales objectives Qualifications * H.S.
