Operator I

Primary Responsibilities:

• Keeps machines and equipment running to a standard

• Monitor product through quality checks

• Read complex drawings and assemble electronic and mechanical components per specifications

• Use of computer software

• Single Process within a cell

• Meet all standards for safety, production, and quality

• Other assigned duties

Required Skills:

• Ability to work with your hands

• Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

• Ability to lift and/or move 25 pounds, and up to 50 pounds

• Ability to read and interpret customer specification sheets, blueprints, part drawings, etc

• Intermediate or higher computer skills

• Basic reading, writing, arithmetic (shop math), and comprehensive skills

• Proven capabilities using hand and power tools including but not limited to: testing equipment, measurement devices, inspection tools, etc

• Use of computer system software

• Teamwork orientation

• Professional Attitude

Required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE):

• Safety Glasses

• Hearing Protection where applicable

• Protective Clothing

• Electrostatic Dissipative (ESD) Steel Toe Shoes

Required Education/Experience:

• 0-1 years of manufacturing experience

• High School Diploma or GED

Preferred:

• Soldering iron experience

• Forklift experience

• Lean Sigma Six Certification

Work is scheduled Monday through Saturday. Shifts are 8 hours with multiple shifts. Employees MUST be flexible and may be required to change shifts.
