Job Summary: Entry level position for operating, set-up, and maintain machinery, tooling, and equipment used in the manufacturing of products according to production schedule for HVAC products and components. Trainees will received on the job training.

Essential Responsibilities/Activities:

Complete duties in a safe and timely manner in accordance with quality standards and engineering specifications. Trainee will learn and be required to show competency in a set period in the operations of machine(s) assigned.

• Set-up, operate, and maintain machinery and equipment used in the manufacturing of HVAC products, components, and specific parts according to production schedule or as required by direction of leadership

• Maintain correct inventory of parts and supplies for proper machine maintenance and function

• Maintain shortage lists for needed parts, repairs, PMs, as well as other related documentation as needed for proper care and maintenance of machinery, equipment, and tooling

• Monitor the operation of machinery, equipment, and tooling to ensure that parts produced meet quality standards and engineering specifications

• Ensure that ALL machine problems, issues, or concerns are relayed to maintenance group and/or department leadership

• Watch for machine and tooling alignment, during operation, to ensure machine reliability

• Record production output and provide of departmental leadership

• Verify conformance of finished work pieces to specifications, using microscopes, gauges, calipers, micrometers, or other measuring devices to ensure quality parts are made

• Willing to learn all task required to operate machine

Qualifications

Education Requirements:

• Must possess a High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• A minimum of 6 months industry experience or equivalent experience in a similar industry.

Essential Mental Functions:

• Activate machines and observes operations to detect misalignment or machine malfunctions.

• Check quality of part to ensure it meets engineering standards.

• Inspect work pieces for conformance to specifications, visually and/or using tools.

Essential Physical Functions:

• Basic Mechanical attuned.

• Lift up to 50 pounds.

• Stand for up to 95 per cent of the shift.

• Work in conditions below 32 degrees or above 90 degrees on occasion.
