The Operator Trainee will be responsible for learning and overseeing multiple functions of the soybean processing facility in Destrehan, LA. Candidate must actively participate in Bunge's Employee Safety Policy and maintain a safe work environment for self and all employees.
Main Accountabilities
Follow HACCP procedures and guidelines to ensure product safety and quality
Review shift logs and plant status throughout the work day
Operate, control, inspect, and troubleshoot various soybean processing equipment, document as needed
Maintain general housekeeping of the plant and plant facilities
Collect, record, and perform necessary process control tests, document as needed
Collect and process quality product samples
Recognize signs of operational failure and proceed and act accordingly
Make regular process adjustments to maintain operating parameters as needed
Cross train in all processes
Obtain Process Safety Management Certification
