Under general direction of the District Operations Manager, administers a variety of training and development programs for associates within assigned Distribution Centers. Assesses training and development needs, and communicates those needs to the Operations Manager. Helps individuals and teams develop appropriate skills and knowledge. Responsible for the planning and execution of learning and development content related to all phases of associate development. Provides training documentation, performance tracking and training delivery. This position may have multiple division responsibility and requires regular travel in support of District initiatives. Successful candidates will possess strong data analytic skills and the ability to successfully deliver training materials to new hires, cross training functions, leadership level positions, and to associates that need to improve performance.


  • Delivers training programs for associates, including compliance, safety, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).

  • Oversees training in all key areas of warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, quality control, pick, pack, inventory management systems.

  • Determines training needs; prepares training aids such as instructional materials, handouts, evaluation forms, and visual aids, using a variety of media.

  • Recommends changes to course material and training manuals to meet specific training needs.

  • Create and implement a cross training program

  • Assesses associates skills, talents, performance and productivity, prepare evaluations and make recommendations for improvement.

  • Onboard new hires and manage training curriculum, identify skill gaps, identify future training needs.

  • Administers post-training performance evaluations and makes recommendations for adjustments to training and presentation materials.

  • Must be willing to work extended hours, as needed, in order to meet training objectives.

  • Keeps current on industry needs by attending regular meetings, conferences, and seminars.

  • Maintains understanding of new educational and training methodology.

  • Up to 35% travel on a monthly basis required.

  • Performs related duties as assigned.


Requires broad training in fields such as business administration, human resources, organizational development, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four-year bachelor's degree program or equivalent combination of experience and education preferred. A minimum of five (5) years directly related warehouse experience preferred.


  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of software technology, and proficiency with remote meeting technologies.

  • Ability to review and interpret data; adjust as appropriate.

  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.

  • Effective presentation skills.

  • Ability to participate and contribute to major organizational change initiatives.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve issues effectively and efficiently.

  • Ability to train others and established learning objectives in a fast-paced and changing environment.

  • Effective team-building, organizational, and leadership skills.

  • Strong presentation skills.

  • 5 years' warehouse experience preferred.

  • Training experience is a plus.

  • Knowledge of AmerisourceBergen Labor Management System and Standard Operating Procedures.

  • Experience with Learning Management Systems preferred.

  • Familiarity with warehouse operations software and inventory systems a must.

Partners with Consumer Sales Managers to ensure coordinated communication, change leadership and direction for Financial Center employees. Home office is City Line Plaza, Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Market includes 18 financial centers in the Lehigh Valley and Northampton markets. 20% overnight travel required. ResponsibilitiesEssential Duties * Serves as the operational subject matter expert and resource for Financial Centers within an assigned area. Provides guidance and expertise for simple to complex operational issues. May research or escalate more complex issues to provide resolution. Responsible for communicating and providing clear understanding so that all market and corporate operational initiatives and policy enhancements are quickly adopted and implemented successfully. Track and analyze corporate and industry issues to recommend best practices for operational policies and procedures at Financial Center and market levels. Recognize training gaps and create appropriate learning activities. Provide targeted training for employees, Financial Centers or job families that need additional support. Works closely with the Learning and Talent Development to ensure operational training is available as required for employees. Supports the operations learning during the onboarding process for newly hired and promoted employees. * Serves to champion a culture of customer experience while educating and modeling how to strike the appropriate balance with compliance and operational excellence. Conducts regular Financial Center visits to inspect proper understanding and compliance with policies and procedures. Monitors controls IE. Cash limits, Medallion STAMP program, reconcilements, and various teller reports. Works closely with Financial Center staff to create action plans and any follow up necessary to remediate negative audit and review findings. Responsible for quarterly review of Branch Internal Control Certification for accuracy and completion. Supports and monitors regulatory procedures and compliance initiatives. Conducts a full Financial Center assessment at least annually to ensure operational compliance. Directly involved in planning and facilitating Fulton Financial Corporation operational meetings for Financial Center staff to reinforce the balance between the customer and compliance focus. Remains informed and up to date with all bank and regulatory requirements. Educates Financial Center staff to ensure awareness and monitor adherence. * Works collaboratively with Consumer Sales Manager and Financial Center Manager to ensure all areas of Financial Center meet expectations by appropriately balancing, Sales, Operations and Customer Experience. Serves as a change leader to support employees during ongoing transitions. Serve in a liaison role among other departments and or committees. May participate and complete various other projects supporting consumer segment and Financial Center operations. IE. Information Technology, Audit.
