Title: Operations Test Manager

Direct Reports: 7 +

Reports to: Director of Operations

Travel: <10% or as needed
Description

Leading and developing Operations Test Operations team that has responsibility for daily execution of product testing. You will be responsible for MACOM's in-house testing operation. You will interface with engineering and operations teams early in the development cycles to develop efficient end-to-end test solutions and ensure a smooth deployment and scheduling of our in-house manufacturing.

This position will work with internal and external partners on the design and deployment of complex factory test systems. Handle detailed requirements' definition, review, and approve test designs, and lead implementation.

Work with your team and vendors to scale and maintain production test systems across the Lowell facility. Driving optimizations in the various test processes to ensure product quality, and operational efficiency.

Key Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in Test or Manufacturing Engineering, Failure Analysis or related validation role including 4+ of those years in people management roles.

• Excellent understanding of electronic test & assembly processes, particularly related to RF and microwave

• Consistent track record of delivering complex test projects from NPI to mass production.

• Establish strategic plans and objectives; make final decisions on administrative and operational matters and ensure effective achievement of objectives.

• Comprehensive understanding of manufacturing test processes and failure analysis.

• Informative in production control processes, data analysis/interpretation Cp/Cpk and correlation analysis

• Project management and people management experience with excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills

Education & Experience

• BS/MS in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or related discipline.

• Communications Systems MS preferred. MBA is a plus.
