Position Description:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Operations Technology Client Manger. This technology person will face off with junior and senior operations personal in Cantor's Jacksonville office. Operations is a critical Cantor/BGC function that manages middle office, settlements , stock record & reconciliations. The individual should have strong SQL skills and experience with reconciliations. The role is responsible for taking user requirements, create specifications, enhance existing and coordinate with a global team across all time zones.

Education Level: Bachelor's or master's Degree or Higher in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field (or relevant work experience).

Roles and Responsibilities

• To perform development tasks on reconciliation application when applicable and responsible for L1/L2/L3 support activities.

• Create SQL based ad-hoc reports.

• Be the face of technology when it comes with Operations users across multiple functions.

• Comprehensive understanding of SDLC Involvement across all stages of Software Development life cycle (SDLC) including business requirement analysis, data mapping, validate data against requirement, build, unit testing, peer reviews, systems integration and user acceptance testing.

• Analyse & develop Test Strategies, design Test Plans, & generate and execute Test Cases.

• Independent player should be able to liaise with different team to re-solve/get dependencies on time.

• Should be able to foresee issue/risk and intimate the same to project manager.

• Participate in configuration & release management.

• Communication with Stakeholders, End-users, IT team, Support etc.

• L3 Business support post delivery

• Willingness to learn new skills.

Experience/Skills Required

• 5+ years of experience preferably working in financial services

• Experience with recon tools such as Intellimatch or Duco

• Experience of Business Intelligence is an advantage

• Good knowledge on SQL database and script/procedures/triggers writing skills(Mandatory)

• Understanding of reconciliation processes

• Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) activities

• Knowledge of Investment Banking and its product like Bonds, Stock, Futures, Options, swaps, warrants, other listed and otc products, and aspects like Cash, Ledger, statements, SWIFT etc

• Knowledge of Business analysis methods and best practices

• Knowledge on Trade lifecycle (Front Office, Middle Office, Back Office) and its events

• Must be able to work closely with end users and peer business analyst and developers

• Effective communication with all stakeholders/teams

• Strong organization and prioritization skills.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $ 100,000 to $ 130,000. The actual base salary will be determined on an individualized basis taking into account a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, education, and, where applicable, licenses or certifications held. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package, this position may be eligible for additional types of compensation including discretionary bonuses and other short- and long-term incentives (e.g., deferred cash, equity, etc.).
