Job Summary
As a member of the Freeport LNG team, contribute positively and assist in the development of an organization, which embraces a commitment for safety and environmental best practice, continuous improvement and teamwork. The primary role is to support a safe operation of a 3 Train facility while supporting the Operations day staff as needed. Will participate in Risk Reviews, HAZOP's, LOPA's, and other reviews deemed needed by the Operations Superintendent. Also responsible for the safe and efficient overall operation of the PTF facility utilizing a Honeywell Distributed Control System (DCS Experian) while under the direction of the Shift Supervisor and/or Shift Team Leader when filling in for a Utility Operator when required to do so. Will be required to work a straight day 4/10 schedule under the CRM guidelines, with the flexibility to adapt to schedule changes and cover positions on overtime as needed. Provide the direction to the day-to-day activities of the outside shift operators. Responsible for interfacing with the other DCS control room and outside operators to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the PTF facility.
Location/Travel Information
This position is based at the Oyster Creek PTF Terminal with possible travel to off-site locations as required. This position requires the incumbent to hold a valid, unexpired driver license at all times in order to perform the essential functions of the job.

Duties/Responsibilities
Essential Functions
Support the implementation of the operation standards through detailed procedures and defined workflow processes
As a member of the Production Leadership team, contribute positively and assist in the development of an organization which embraces a commitment for safety and environmental best practice, continuous improvement and team work
Support the delivery of Operation and Production Excellence
Ensure operational safety through participation in safety meetings and in the field with the workforce
Mentor and coach staff and provide a positive role model in key areas of the operation that follow best industry practices such as Zero recordable injuries and no environmental violations.
Maintain high-quality working relationships with both operations and maintenance departments
Other duties as assigned and deemed necessary by facility management
Identify problems, troubleshoot, produce documents and justifications for plant wide improvements in process, maintenance and operations leading to a more efficient and productive facility
Interface daily with Technical Staff
Responsible for inside (control room) PTF duties and responsibilities of the Gas inlet/outlet facilities, Gas Turbine Generator as well as the Heating Medium system and all common utilities, when filling in for an absent Utility panel operator.
Monitors all facility equipment and pipeline operations through the facility DCS systems
Makes control changes as necessary to ensure smooth overall operations
Complies with all facility safety, environmental and health requirements
As the outside PTF operator, makes scheduled rounds to visually inspect all plant equipment
Monitors all plant equipment process disciplines and correct or report problems
Other duties as assigned and deemed necessary by facility supervision
Must demonstrate knowledge by describing in detail the overall process including process narratives and successfully pass all required tests associated with all FLNG PTF processes outlined in the FLNG progression plan

Must maintain a valid driver's license and maintain the insurability to drive a motor vehicle in order to perform the duties required at all FLNG locations
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain TWIC (Transportation Workers Identification Credentials) card

HSE Roles and Responsibilities
Support the policies, efforts, and programs of Freeport LNG Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Management System. Actively participate in the HSE Management System Policies. Ensure that HSE concerns are given priority in all activities completed within their area of responsibility. Implement routine inspections to ensure safe operating conditions.
Working Conditions and Physical Expectations
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at construction job sites. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.
May be required to wear respiratory protective equipment.
Must be able to wear all necessary PPE equipment to perform job functions.
Operates in an industrial plant environment.
Exposure to indoor and outdoor weather conditions.
Not necessarily protected from weather and temperature changes. Possible exposure to hot, cold, wet, humid or windy weather conditions.
