Job Summary
Consists of managing day to day facility operations and personnel under the direction of the Operations Shift Supervisor, Operations Superintendent, and Production Manager.
Location/Travel Information
This position is based at the Oyster Creek PTF Terminal with frequent travel to off-site locations as required. This position requires the incumbent to hold a valid, unexpired drivers license at all times in order to perform the essential functions of the job.
Duties/Responsibilities
Responsible for all operational activities during the shift; Supervise operators' activities for LQF/RTM operations and coordinate interaction between the various functions
Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental and health requirements on the shift Ensure product quality specifications and delivery volume requirements are met
Train and mentor subordinate operations personnel Troubleshoot plant problems
Participation for monitoring and maintaining costs, associated with the Operations Team's part of the budget Provide technical advice/support to Maintenance, Operations and Engineering Support as requested Supervise and cross train new or less experienced employees
Serves as Incident Commander if Operations Shift Supervisor is not onsite

Essential Functions
Other duties as assigned and deemed necessary by facility supervision
To successfully draw out the process and successfully pass all required tests associated with all FLNG processes
The employee must have the ability to drive a motor vehicle in order to perform the duties required at all FLNG locations
Perform duties of the shift supervisor during his/her absence as a shift supervisor step-up
Relieve the CRM utilities/power generation operator as needed
Assist in maintaining the shift schedule to minimize CRM deviations
Oversee permitting and LOTO tasks on shift
Assist in developing and red lining operating procedures
Communicate daily on the needs of the shift and the condition of the units/equipment to the shift supervisor
Minimum Qualification/Work Experience
Minimum Required:
Associates Degree in Process technology with 7+ years' applicable experience working in operations within and LNG, NGL or chemical plant, or;
High School Graduate or GED equivalent with 9+ years' applicable experience working in operations within and LNG, NGL or chemical plan
Preferred:

Good written/verbal technical communication skills

Trained in Emergency Response
Ability to work under pressure in a rapidly changing environment
Strong commitment to HSE with the ability to inspire and lead others
Strong Planning Skills
Experienced in reading and understanding P&ID & PFD drawings
HSE Roles and Responsibilities
Support the policies, efforts, and programs of Freeport LNG Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Management System. Actively participate in the HSE Management System Policies. Ensure that HSE concerns are given priority in all activities completed within their area of responsibility. Implement routine inspections to ensure safe operating conditions.
Working Conditions and Physical Expectations
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at construction job sites. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.
May be required to wear respiratory protective equipment.
Must be able to wear all necessary PPE equipment to perform job functions.
Operates in an industrial plant environment.
Exposure to indoor and outdoor weather conditions.
Not necessarily protected from weather and temperature changes. Possible exposure to hot, cold, wet, humid or windy weather conditions.
Exposure to moving mechanical parts and electrical circuits.
Exposure to constant, or intermittent sounds of a pitch level sufficient to cause marked distraction.
Routinely uses standard office and field communications equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers w/scanner and fax, and radios.
