Opportunity Overview

Responsible for solving complex and non-routine problems.

  • Must be able to work independently while researching the problem thoroughly and resolving in a timely manner with knowledge of industry and/or regulatory rules and deadlines.

  • Requires collaboration and communication (written and verbal) with branch offices, third parties, vendors, and internal departments through phone, email and internal messaging systems to solve escalated and complex issues.

Position Requirements

A bachelor's degree or relevant work experience is preferred. Appropriate securities registrations will be required if it is required for the work in the department.

  • 2+ years of experience in a financial services environment (i.e. brokerage, banking, insurance, etc.) required.

  • An advanced knowledge of procedures and systems associated with multiple functions on a team within a department.

  • An advanced level of proficiency with Jones systems is preferred.

  • Must have strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and handle a heavy workload in order to be able to fulfill all the roles on the team.

  • Must have excellent word-processing and spreadsheet skills, as well as a thorough understanding of Jones' systems.

  • Industry knowledge and skills as it relates to products, services, and processes is required.

Job Summary: Utilize knowledge of bank policies, procedures and accounting principles to ensure timely and accurate processing of new/renewal loan transactions via direct communication/negotiation with customers and accurate instructions to Administration Group. * Interact with customers in the CUSTOMER FIRST way facilitate the processing of all bank documents submitted in alignment with business transactions completed in compliance with departments procedure. * Utilize Japanese communication skill to follow up with the customers including the Parent Co. in Japan. * Facilitate accurate record keeping, approval of all documentation and ensure the appropriate dissemination of relevant documentation to necessary departments. * Coordinate customers requests to have accounts opened, title change, address changes and account closures timely and accurately. * Creates profile for new customers and update existing profiles accordingly. * Recommend ways in which to improve and streamline workflow which will generate higher level of customer satisfaction. * Provide detailed feedback to appropriate parties utilizing communication skills related to customers business or suspicious activities. * Support other sections within the department and perform general office duties as needed. Qualifications: In-depth knowledge of corporate banking procedures, products and operations as required. * Excellent communication skills with attention to details. * Knowledge of basic PC application (Word, PowerPoint). * Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
