Volt is immediately hiring a Mechanical Maintenance Technician in Folsom, CA.

As a Mechanical Maintenance Technician, you will:

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment including preventative and corrective maintenance of Manufacturing / Production Equipment.

• Technical support of one or more production processes, product test and troubleshooting, and technical analyses and problem-solving.

• May design and/or build tools.

• Evaluates manufacturing organization technical assignments and determines actions required

• Solves complex problems requiring breadth/ depth of knowledge of technical discipline(s), operations, procedures

This is a Full Time Opportunity, Monday

• Friday, 5:30am

• 2:30pm

The Ideal Candidate will have:

• Experience working with pneumatic, mechanical and/or electrical systems in a manufacturing / production environment

• Desire and ability to proactively improve processes

• Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills

• Skill to multi-task and organize thoughts as needed and competence in planning and organizing workload

• Ability to work independently and within a team with talent for establishing and maintaining positive work relationships

• Aptitude to follow complex instructions; ability to follow verbal and written instructions

• Ability and willingness to handle gas cylinders, chemicals and solvents

• Ability to troubleshoot and get to the root cause of failures

• Experience working in a fast-paced environment where quick responses and ability to adapt to changing priorities are required

• Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment

• Machining experience

Pay Rate: $25/hour

• Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
