Operations Support Specialist (Dairy Cold Room Operations)

This position operates on a day shift, Monday through Friday, allowing you to make the most of your weekends! Each shift is 10 hours.

Essential Duties:

• Build and assign outbound loads and trucks to operators using WMS

• Print BOL for drivers

• Report lost sales by buyer to documents/spreadsheets.

• Track, document and report daily sales to spreadsheet.

• Complete purchase orders and track daily purchasing into spreadsheet.

• Receive product and enter into inventory management system

• Pull yields when necessary to ensure proper inventory board reductions.

• Request and track invoices from carriers.

• Enter, process, follow up and complete all payments and checks for late fees and rescheduling fees.

• Maintain inbound and outbound loads

• Maintain carrier contact and product information including following up on late appointments and making up outbound orders.

• Request and track feed documents from carriers.

• Maintain filing system (electronic and hard copies) for operational documents

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• HS diploma or GED. Bachelor's degree a plus.

• 2+ years' experience in an administrative or operations support role

• Excellent communication skills including ability to effectively communicate with associates and drivers in English

• Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Email)

• Demonstrated advanced expertise in Excel

• Basic math skills

• Must be flexible and willing to work the demands of the department which are subject to weekends, and holidays.
