Job Description:

The PSS Operations Support Manager will be responsible for the achievement of business objectives at assigned accounts/vendors. The individual will oversee, coordinate and support program interactions including: biopharmaceutical patient services, third party vendor management, day-to-day operational excellence, contact centers, reimbursement distribution channel, performance improvement, and specialty pharmacy operations.

As the Operations Support Manager PSS (Patient and Specialty Services) Program Manager, you will provide ongoing support to PSS Program Managers and assigned brand(s). Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Acting as a consistent point of contact and facilitator to enable appropriate discussions and projects between PSS Operations, Brands, Vendors, US Managed Markets, Finance, Strategic Sourcing, Field, IT, Analytics, and other business partners and departments related to PSS operational activities, to ensure 100% compliance.

  • Managing vendor SOP development and maintenance process, Work Instructions (if appropriate), program documents, etc.

  • Continuously evaluating and suggesting improvements to process/patient flow and retention throughout the program process.

  • Supporting/managing successful implementation of any new services launched/administered for PSS and/or at third party vendors including planning, designing, managing, building and launching along with ensuring adequate staffing for operational support.

Some accountabilities will include, but are not limited to external Field Teams (Field Reimbursement Team (FRM), third-party management; HUB and Leadership & the Operational teams in achieving key business objectives and growth targets through the management and coordination of business critical work streams and events. Key job duties include planning, coordinating and managing strategy and FRM operations, including implementation and ongoing maintenance of initiatives and two-way communication from PSS, FRM, third-party management team, HUB, Brand, Sales and Training. Operates with solutions' oriented mindset, strong interpersonal and presentation skills, executive presence, and proactively takes initiative to problem solve. This role will include key direct responsibilities, including: * People: oLiaise and work with Brand and Field Leadership to design, implement and track field-driven innovation programs oTrouble shoot , manage and communicate issues with field teams oLiaise with Hub on any field or patient issues, escalations and communications oManages the coordination of resources and communication across internal and external reimbursement contacts, specifically aligned to HUB, AM/MAC, field reps, and potential nurse educators oResponsible for alignment of strategy, structure and the recruitment of field based resources. * Process: oSupport the operational effectiveness of FRM Leadership for the Franchise oCreates and manages processes to streamline workflow, adapts to continuous changes, prioritizes tasks, and stays ahead of the planning process and employs project plan tracking to ensure projects stay on task and timelines are met. oProject manage initiatives involving the Franchise for Patient Services, including on-boarding of new teams, launches, etc. oAssist in coordination & support of the field force in tactical execution and projects including: Brand Communications & Tactical roll out, training requirements and coordination of National Sales Meetings including Launch Meetings and Business Review Meetings. * Systems and Analytics: oAccountable for working with the data team to proactively monitoring business performance and execution (including field force, HUB, and FRM key indicators); recommending business solutions and course correction tactics as needed to drive performance, works with the data and analytics team to develop reporting mechanisms and key indicators to clearly communicate FRM performance utilizing strong analytical skills oWorks with Data and Analytics team to communicate data for Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), contests and brand initiatives and making recommendations to Head of PSS Franchises on strategy and tactics necessary to meet expectations, improve performance, increase productivity, and identify issues/opportunities and solutions.
