Overview
Under general supervision of the Director of Operations and Operations Manager, the Operations Supervisor is responsible for implementing set up and tear down of shows and in the coordination and recommendation to management of all maintenance of the complex, including the mechanical, plumbing, electrical, HVAC and ice floor systems. Flexible work schedule required.
This role will pay a hourly rate of $18.00 to $20.00/ hour

About the Venue
Located in the heart of Cumberland County, the Crown Complex is a state-of-the-art, five-venue complex comprised of a 4,500-seat arena, a 9,200-square foot ballroom, a 10,880-seat coliseum, an exposition center with 60,000 square feet of unobstructed space and a 2,440-seat theatre.Managed by OVG, the Complex is home to the Fayetteville Marksmen hockey team (SPHL) and Fayetteville Fury indoor soccer team (NISL) and hosts a variety of other sporting events, family shows, concerts and special productions year-round.

Ability To:• Work effectively in a service-oriented environment subject to frequently changing priorities• Work effectively under pressure in meeting deadlines• Work with minimal supervision• Analyze job related challenges, identify alternative solutions, project consequences of proposed actions and implement recommendations in support of organizational objectives• Perform other general maintenance related tasks including plumbing, painting, trades and grounds keeping• Communicate clearly and concisely in the English language, both orally and in writing• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, contractors and facility users• Work a flexible schedule including early mornings, days, evenings, overnight, weekends, holidays, extended (long) work days and extended numbers of daysPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSExperience:Must be at least 18 years of age• Minimum of two (2) years of related experience, preferably with an arena, convention center, hotel or other similar public assembly facility Education / Training:• Bachelor's/Technical degree from an accredited college/university/school preferred.• Must show demonstrated knowledge and experience in work crew supervision in facility operations.• Ability to work event nights, weekends and holidays as required.• Ability to follow written instruction, preferable the ability to interpret AutoCAD drawings and execute plans.• Knowledge of OSHA requirements.• Candidates must be able to follow orders explicitly, be capable of working as part of a team, and be able to work well with other individuals.• Candidates should be able to work alone if required, and be able to complete tasks up to and including final clean up and putting tools and supplies back to their assigned storage areas.• High school diploma or equivalent GED required
Licenses or Certificates:• Forklift certification preferred • Must have earned a valid driver's license
