Operations Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Operations Supervisor to oversee our manufacturing operations.

Job Summary: As the Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our manufacturing facility. This includes managing production processes, ensuring quality control, maintaining safety standards, and leading a team of skilled workers.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for operational excellence. Responsibilities: Oversee daily factory operations and production schedules to ensure an organized, timely, and efficient output. Manage and lead a team of production staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.

Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure all products meet industry standards and customer specifications. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, promoting a culture of safety within the workplace. Collaborate with the procurement team to manage inventory levels and ensure the availability of raw materials.

Establish and Analyze production data and performance metrics to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for process improvement. Develop and implement training programs for staff to enhance skills and productivity. Liaise with other departments (such as sales, logistics, maintenance, and upper management) to coordinate production schedules and fulfill customer orders.

Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years experience in a manufacturing environment with a focus on wood products OR Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing Management Strong leadership and team management skills. Proficient in production planning and inventory management software. Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a manufacturing setting.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence.
